The protagonist "waking up" with amnesia, putting the pieces of a puzzle together while staying in a hotel filled with clues, a call from a strange contact, a dive bar, and an evil corporation. The only downside is that you can't re-watch it for the first time again.

Total Recall turns 36 years old today. It premiered back in 1990.
Based off "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" penned by Philip K. Dick, it earned $260+ million dollars.
It did get a 2012 remake, but I think it's safe to say the original is better received.
