Tomorrow after breakfast I'm driving about 90 minutes to spend time at our granddaughter's school, as her guest at "VIP Day."

In her honor, I'm going to wear the "booster sweatshirt" I bought at the start of the school year. Gorgeous tie die in shades of blue and white, with the mustang (mascot) front and center, the school name above, and her surname on the back at shoulder level.

That and wide-leg jeans and my "Great Wave off Kanagawa" Doc Martens. Because it'll be cold and raining, all day.

But I get to see my little twinkie, and possibly also one of my besties (who volunteers there on Tuesdays and Thursdays)!.

Win/win.
