Standing up for our wildlife, often means putting our own wants aside. This is what I try to communicate when I advocate for an end to fireworks. I was thrilled to use my Harry Potter fandom to help fight for our precious wildlife and yes, I was absolutely committed to boycotting the event (which I had already purchased tickets to), in order to stand up for our beautiful wildlife.

Even from all the way over here in Brimbank (my segment was filmed in Brimbank Park), we are able to affect change in other communities. Together, we can make a difference.
