Police officer saves dog after it fell through ice

SPARTA, N.J. (WKRC) - A police officer is being recognized for his bravery and professionalism following a daring ice rescue. Michael Poon, who is certified in ice rescue, used department equipment to crawl onto the ice and reach a dog that had fallen through, Sparta police said. Without hesitation, Poon entered the icy water and pushed the dog back onto the ice, allowing it to return safely to dry land. In contrast, I see some religious leaders point not to good works, but to time spent in devotions, and an increasing enjoyment of such.
