First time trying satin stitch embroidery (white filling) and back stitch (black outline).
It's harder than I thought. :x Maybe I used the wrong fabric (old sheet) or the wrong number of strands (3).
It's not horrible but I'm not really happy about it either.
I also tried a technique to use less thread on the back.

As a child, sci-fi was my favourite genre. Growing up in 1980s Soviet Russia, we didn’t have shows like Star Trek— I caught up later. It was the work of Soviet sci-fi authors that first sparked my love for the genre. Stories set in deep space, especially, always made me reflect on my own place in the universe.
