🔶 Throwback time – two weeks ago I had an intense and exciting stay with the Private Cloud ERP teams of our Support Center Ireland 🇮🇪! Being so close to Madrid, delivering in critical areas, and having a growing impact with taking on global roles, it was definitely overdue! Accordingly, the agenda was packed from dawn to dusk… * Leadership exchange with the PRC ERP people managers, our global functional leaders for S/4 Services&CRM , GTS, Logistics Execution, and our global Knowledge Lead * Meetings with the Support Center and Labs leadership team * “Ask me anything” session for all Private Cloud ERP Engineers * Meeting each Sales & Procure team for an exchange on what works well, what needs to be improved, and discussing any other relevant business * Meeting Technical-Functional Experts from different functional areas to listen to their valuable insights * Taking time for discussing KCS and our Technical Support Transformation with our Support Team Coaches and Transformation Ambassadors * A very valuable “Go Gemba” session with a Senior Engineer looking rather into the “meta processes” that support the team delivery Those sessions were enriched by ad-hoc and cross meetings - easy to facilitate as a lot is going on in Ireland at any time … * work lunch with the very active Women@PRC group * Meeting with my TS I&CX peer Srivatsa V * and (re-)meeting our TS Solution Area Leads Becky Doyle, PHR and Lynda O'Brien after a couple of years (well Becky you had come to Madrid recently ;-) ) ... complemented with further valuable 1:1 meetings and lots of informal conversations, and rounded off by cozy team and leadership dinners. It has been said innumerable times, yet again nothing can replace a long, deep F2F conversation. There are important aspects of human life that will never surface in a remote meeting in the same way.
