“No, that feels wrong, it’s too formal. It sounds like my mother or father. I need a nickname. I’ve never had one. Choose one for me.”
Polly pulled a face. “Von? Voni? Roni?”
Veronica laughed. “It makes me sound like a Prussian or just a man.” Though that might be interesting.
“Nika?”
“Yes! I will be Nika for you.”

Watched a thriller, Love Lies Bleeding, and it was so very much not what I expected. What I had expected was a sapphic romance between two women who battle with all sorts of external conflicts (they do, but they also battle with heavy relationship problems).
What I got was a film which reminded me of a car crash - horrible things happen, but you cannot look away from them.
And there is a supernatural thing happening I hadn't seen coming.

Ich habe dein Buch, bzw. die beiden verschiedenen Ausgaben, in der Buchhandlung meines Vertrauens gefunden und die Ausgabe ab 18 Jahre auf meine Wunschliste gesetzt.
Interessante Idee, zwei verschiedene Varianten herauszubringen, einmal mit Spice und einmal ohne. Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe?
