How to Find a Princess (Runaway Royals #2) by Alyssa Cole

This started off so strong. Makeda and Beznaria are a brilliant opposites attract clash (without being enemies). Each woman has a strong point of view and internal driving. Neither is presented as fully wrong or right.

Unfortunately, the middle dragged and became badly paced. There was far too much on the cargo ship and far too little of an ending.

Since my 27th sapphic romance novel is now out, I did another book stack.

I left out a few that have a smaller format so the stack wouldn't topple over, but it still looks pretty impressive, right?

Watched a thriller, Love Lies Bleeding, and it was so very much not what I expected. What I had expected was a sapphic romance between two women who battle with all sorts of external conflicts (they do, but they also battle with heavy relationship problems).
What I got was a film which reminded me of a car crash - horrible things happen, but you cannot look away from them.
And there is a supernatural thing happening I hadn't seen coming.
