⛳️ #tbt to the Opening week of SAP Labs Vietnam and SAP Support Center Vietnam 🇻🇳 - it was a blast💥! I was honored to be part of the launch of our latest Support Center Vietnam, embedded within our newly formalized SAP Labs Vietnam, on August 5! The week was filled with engaging activities: ➡️ We explored SAP, CSD, and TS strategies and their connection with our daily work in support, followed by an informative “Ask Me Anything” session. ➡️ Mohammed Ajouz officially kicked off the newest SAP SC Vietnam, followed by a coaching session around our DISC profiles, a conversation with the SAP Labs Vietnam MD Manik, an introduction to the SAP Support Center Network, and a panel with the Support Product Family Heads for BTP, Public Cloud ERP, and Private Cloud ERP. ➡️ We discussed the ramp-up plan for the Support Center in detail. I had the pleasure of meeting the new Support Team Manager from Vietnam for Private Cloud ERP, and am looking forward to seeing the collaboration with the relocated colleague from Budapest, both bringing in their greatly complementing expertise and experience. ➡️ We jointly celebrated the “Grand Opening” of SAP Labs Vietnam, where I had the privilege of meeting Thomas Saueressig, Stefan Steinle, Clas Neumann, the MD Manik, and the VN Vice Deputy PM as a special guest. ➡️ As Product Family Heads, we also got the chance to have a smaller round discussion with Stefan Steinle on current operational and strategic topics. ➡️ We ended the week with a productive coffee corner with Stefan Steinle and all employees of the new SC Vietnam. Lunches and dinners introduced me to the very enjoyable Vietnamese cuisine from day one. The hospitality of my new support colleagues was fantastic; I felt integrated into the team since day one - I owe you all another lunch invite (and yes, beers and karaoke too)! The ice on the cake were the magic SAP moments – on the one hand the inspiring conversations with colleagues that just start their “Life at SAP”, on the other hand sharing a beer (or two...) with colleagues from Shanghai, Manila, Bangalore, Budapest, Dublin, Madrid, Toronto, and Chicago, with nearly 200 combined years of SAP experience – it was truly special. I hope to experience this magic many more times before “the inevitable” would happen 😉. Now, what really counted and counts are the new colleagues we welcomed on board – they are simply fantastic. I feel proud and humbled to be part of the new beginnings of an SAP Support Center for the third time in my career, after Spain 🇪🇸 and Brazil 🇧🇷.
