If Sandy Denny had only written and performed one song, "Solo", she would still be among my most admired.

The last verse of "Solo" takes us from whimsy to nailing down the human condition in about one minute. I get goosebumps and misty eyes every single time.

"I've always lived in a mansion,
on the other side of the moon.
I've always kept a unicorn
and I never sing out of tune.
I could tell you that the grass is really greener
