One thing that I can never not notice…
Samurai Jack and Hermes from Futurama are both voiced by Phil LaMarr.
For some reason I thought Samurai Jack season 5 was poorly received.
It’s got a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
So this is Samurai Jack.
Specifically season 5. Released in 2017, after the original sasons were released over 2001-2003.
It is much harder edged, with Jack fighting off suicidal thoughts and the levels of violence well beyond what the original episodes would have allowed.
It is also an incredible work of animation.
