SAM's E-Tracker music (and also Borik's online SAA1099Tracker that has a compile to Z80 code output) give a code blob with an Init routine to call on startup, and a Frame routine to be called 50 times a second. Perfect for my SAA1099P Soundchip Interface for RC2014 & Compatibles. (While you can use a delay loop for crude 50Hz timing for the Frame routine, the interrupt controller on my SID Soundchip Interface can be used for accurate timing - it can generate interrupts 50, 60 or 100 times a second!)

But, while I'm out of more dead chips to frame, I do have several hundred unused SAM Coupe ASICs, still in the VLSI tube packaging! "Pandemonium" is the codename for a new SAM system I've in the works to use them.
While things have been very quiet in recent months (apologies for the delays with things to anyone waiting, I've got some updates to email out as I'm playing catch up this weekend, had hoped this would have happened last month, but again real life had other plans.) I should have an update ready to go out in the next issue of SAM Revival once caught up with that and finally get the issue out (with 'The Lower Caverns' on the coverdisk that's been eagerly awaited!)

As these rely on having a dead chip, this is the last one I currently have - a framed SAM Coupe ASIC chip - the custom silicon chip designed by Bruce Gordon in 1989 that powers the #SAMCoupe computer. Perfect wall art for your computer room!
Second attempt at the external 4mb expansion for the #SamCoupe and it works perfectly. Decided to give #JLCPCB a try just because I couldn't bear waiting another month for #PCBWay to deliver to find out if the new design worked, and they weren't too far away on pricing. Placed the order on 26th April, it arrived today. That's not bad going at all.
