Went car shopping yesterday. In an obviously staged scene when one dealership told us what they'd give us for our trade and we said we were leaving, the sales manager came out of his office and said, "that's the wrong trade" to the poor hapless sales person who said "what!" In her best 'I'm shocked' voice.
The sales manager then came over and offered us more and acted like it was some honest mistake. We left anyway.
