kiki me myself and IAnd… it’s gone. I went back yesterday morning to say hi to The One Apple and I could tell almost as soon as I started across the yard toward the tree that it wasn’t there anymore.
Sure, I’m very disappointed that I won’t get to spend more time with that apple, grow and eventually enjoy its human-friendly ripeness. And at the same time I am reminding myself that I have planted and a tree and helped it grow a gift for one of my kin.
