over recent years i've posted many times on this topic, wrt such anti-trans bigotry both here in straya & in UK, pointing out a gross failing in 100% of the public reporting of this accursed issue, viz... what do peeps mean when they say "transgender women"?

"transgender" is the broadest of umbrella terms, spanning a significant diversity of gender identity. on one "side" are peeps who have no or minimal surgery [& want none], ie, to be gross about it, still have testicles & penis. i can entirely understand cis-lesbians wanting nothing to do with penis-owners. however on the other "side" of this broad umbrella are post-op transsexual women, but nobody seems to talk about us, or at least not without ignorance & malice.

when LAG says

are they also talking about post-op transsexual women? if they are, i would appreciate an explanation of how we pose a risk, any risk whatsoever?

this is a simply wicked problem, & pessimistically i feel it cannot be solved.

I am halfway thru #4Corners (on #LNP REalignment) and there is one elephant in the room, that everyone can see but no one dares to talk about. The implied racism in the LNP nebulous immigration thinking — because there is no policy there to dissect it can only be talked about as thought bubbles — none of the polies interviewed were willing to say out loud which are the ‘groups’ that they want to keep out of Australia. They use weasel words to weave and bob around the truth of their convictions (if convictions these truly are and not mere electoral ploys). If these LNP RWNJs punter had any clarity about what they want to see legislated or regulated, they would be more articulate and decisive about what it is they would do if given the opportunity to govern. Yet none of them get anywhere near enunciating clear and consistent messages which leave no one wondering what the f**k they’re on about. They’re all a bunch of deceivers and half-truth-tellers. This lot can’t be trusted with power IMHO.
