Why Bikes?
We believe bikes are special. Slow enough to take in the world. Fast enough to explore. Quiet enough to hear the sounds of nature, the voices of friends, the occasional pounding of your heart. Easy enough to laugh. Hard enough to train your body, test your mind, and earn moments of pride. It's a piece of equipment to obsess over, customize, and argue about. It makes commuting, errands, and exercise fun. #BikeTooter

Messing about with my bikes again in my constant search for optimal component distribution. I rarely buy new parts but I did purchase and fit some new latex tubes following my butyl failure then other day. Still have set this bike up tubeless, will do so with new tires when these ones wear out. Just need to cable tie my climbing shifter pod onto the bars and I’m done…
I’m still trying to figure out which bike in which configuration to ride next season’s SR on, and whether that’ll be the bike for #PBP2027
Amongst other things I’m going to see if using my phone as a navigation device works any better than when I last tried it. I have constant power on my gravel bike/tourer so in theory it should work but the battery drain is often faster than the charging from my dynohub. Let’s see if it’s better with my new phone (which has a better battery and charges faster and discharges slower). I don’t *need* navigation tomorrow as I know the 74km to work blindfold, which is precisely the point ;-) #RWGPS #cycling #BikeTooter #Navigation
