My 17yo son just finished his HSC; he's decided to study comparative Domestic and International Politics/Modern History/Social equality. Anyways, he is ND and has a passion for "info-dumping" about various historical and modern political regimes, the atrocities they've committed and so on. He is also a huge fan of just about every ball sport. His favourite baseballer is #RubeWaddell, born in 1876, because he was such a unique character.

Anyway, as you are aware that the Soccer (Football) World Cup has just started, and so too have the obscure #infodumbs of country, team and player stats... I just stop what I'm doing, pay attention, look like I'm interested in knowing about some obscure sport's statistics, and smile. He then mysteriously wanders away to a foreign land known as his bedroom (the unique and foreign teenage smells waft away with him) until it's time for him to venture back out and enlighten me with another awe-inspiring infodump. Fingers crossed, he doesn't ask me to watch a 3 am game with him. Especially if it goes to penalty shoot outs.
