Supports both m.2 NVME and SATA drives
It's tool-free & doesn't need an additional thermal pad.
I got mine in May and it came with the latest firmware already flashed.
The downside, you need to run M$ Winblows to update the firmware.
The ORICO M2PV-C3 and ORICO PW use the same chip but those I got needed firmware updates and there thermals are worse also the M2PV-C3 is NOT tool-free and both need thermal pads (that are included) but will wear out quickly if you change drives a lot.
I do run a white ORICO PW as boot drive on my Raspberry Pi 400
