Oh deer! Red deer (Cervus elaphus) hind is partially concealed among tall summer grasses in a meadow. The deer faces the camera directly, ears alert and eyes calm, with a strand of grass hanging from its mouth. The green, lush grass provides excellent natural camouflage, suggesting a wild and undisturbed habitat.
