Overview The Village of New Boston is located directly along the Ohio River and, with the exception of the river, is entirely surrounded by the City of Portsmouth within Scioto County, Ohio. Today, the community is primarily oriented along the Ohio River and Route 52, at the southern terminus of Route 139 connecting the community with the Village of Minford followed by the City of Jackson within Scioto and Jackson Counties.

Overview The Village of Higginsport is located along the Ohio River within the boundaries of Lewis Township, Brown County, Ohio, in the United States. Today, the community is largely oriented along Route 52, which parallels the Ohio River; additional highways include Routes 221 and 505. Route 221 leads north-northeast toward the Village of Georgetown, best known for Ulysses S. Grant and the county seat of Brown County, while Route 505 ultimately leads north toward the Village of Feesburg.

Overview The Village of Manchester is located along the Ohio River in the southern portion of Adams County, Ohio, along Route 52 at the southern terminus of Route 136. Today, not much exists in terms of tourism for the community; however, the residential community lacks significant career opportunities and prospects in the modern day and contains a heightened risk of unemployment, resulting in a greater sense of economic distress.
