DalaDino design 2 - Theropod (Tyrannosaur? Gorgosaur?) with black base, and blue Telemark-ish swirls. Didn't have a lot of planning time with the paint - just pulled it out of my brain. Carved from basswood.

Attended the painting class during the 53rd Annual Woodcarving Show with @FlickertailWoodcarvers - had a lot of fun learning basic Rosemaling. This was a Telemark style.
Night 1, delayed (I’ve been sick, not feeling up to carving).
Starting practice pattern #2, also in basswood. Design modified from stone carvings from Bali.
Phase 1 done - lowered the outside square, and the inside leaves. Lost one small part of an outside leaf edge - I didn't get my stop-cut *quiiiite* deep enough. Oops. Detailing (veins) of the leaves next, then I'll tackle the inside flower.
