AGI - La Russia è costretta a rivedere le sue ambizioni mentre la Nasa si prepara a tornare sulla Luna e la missione Artemis II batte il record di distanza dalla Terra raggiunto da un equipaggio di astronauti. Le missioni Luna-28, Luna-29 e Luna-30 che compongono il programma russo di esplorazione lunare sono state posticipate al periodo 2032-2036. Lo ha annunciato Sergei Chernyshev, vicepresidente dell'Accademia russa delle scienze.
Due fasi
Il programma russo di esplorazione lunare si articola in due fasi: ricerca tecnologica e sviluppo dell'area di atterraggio, costruzione di basi lunari ed esplorazione. Il lancio di Luna-29 è previsto per il 2032, quello di Luna-28 per il 2036 e quello di Luna-30 per il 2034.
A sua volta, il direttore dell'Istituto di Ricerca Spaziale dell'Accademia Russa delle Scienze, Anatoly Petrukovich, ha dichiarato che gli scienziati russi stanno elaborando un programma di ricerca lunare per il periodo fino al 2060 che prevede lo sviluppo di sistemi robotici, il coordinamento con il progetto di energia nucleare spaziale, l'espansione della cooperazione internazionale e l'attrazione di imprese private.
Il lancio della sonda interplanetaria Luna-27A era stato già posticipato dal 2028 al 2029, mentre il lancio di Luna-27B era previsto per il 2030.

Moscow is revising its ambitions and postponing the lunar exploration program.

Roscosmos is forced to revise its ambitions as NASA prepares to return to the Moon and the Artemis II mission breaks the record distance from Earth achieved by a crew of astronauts. The Luna-28, Luna-29, and Luna-30 missions, which comprise the Russian lunar exploration program, have been postponed to the period 2032-2036. This was announced by Sergei Chernyshev, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Two Phases
The Russian lunar exploration program is structured in two phases: technological research and the development of the landing area, construction of lunar bases and exploration. The launch of Luna-29 is planned for 2032, that of Luna-28 for 2036 and that of Luna-30 for 2034.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Space Research Institute, Anatoly Petrukovich, stated that Russian scientists are developing a lunar research program for the period up to 2060, which includes the development of robotic systems, coordination with the space nuclear energy project, the expansion of international cooperation and the attraction of private companies.

The launch of the interplanetary probe Luna-27A had already been postponed from 2028 to 2029, while the launch of Luna-27B was scheduled for 2030.

An unpiloted Roscosmos Progress 94 spacecraft is safely in orbit and headed to the International Space Station following its launch at 7:59 a.m. EDT (4:59 p.m. Baikonur time) on a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Looks like repairs have been successfully completed at the launch pad in Baikonur which had suffered severe damage on Nov 27, 2025 during launch of the Soyuz MS-28 crew vehicle to the ISS.
