Sister ship of the Novocherkassk and Minsk, the Caesar Kunikov damaged and reportedly sunk.

Just Yamal and Azov left of the Ropucha class ships in the Black Sea Fleet. Couple more active in the Pacific, Northern and Baltic fleets. This class is important for its troop and equipment carrying capacity as a logistical vessel, particularly for russian ability to supply (or evacuate) Crimea.
