(Adnkronos) - Che fine ha fatto il punto 8? Al Senato, oggi, si discutevano e votavano le mozioni del centrodestra e del campo progressista sulla situazione energetica del Paese. Nella prima versione del testo presentata dai capigruppo di maggioranza, al punto 8 appunto, si impegnava il governo a rivedere gli accordi presi con Trump, quindi lo stop al 5% del Pil nelle spese militari Nato. Poco prima di arrivare alla prova del voto del Senato, però, il punto 8 sparisce. Chi è stato?, si chiedono dalle opposizioni, è stato Crosetto o c’è un problema tra Meloni, Salvini e Tajani. A volere il cambio di rotta pare che sia stato proprio il governo attraverso una moral suasion, specialmente per evitare ulteriori problemi con l’amministrazione statunitense. Intanto gli stessi autori del misfatto tendono a minimizzare: “Era meglio discuterne in altre sedi”, dicono sia Romeo della Lega, sia Stefania Craxi, di Forza Italia.

(Adnkronos) - What happened to point 8? In the Senate, today, motions from the center-right and the progressive camp were being debated and voted on regarding the country’s energy situation. In the first version of the text presented by the majority group leaders, point 8 committed the government to reviewing agreements made with Trump, namely the halt to 5% of GDP in NATO military spending. Shortly before arriving at the Senate vote, however, point 8 disappeared. “Who was it?” the opposition asks, wondering if it was Crosetto or if there’s a problem between Meloni, Salvini, and Tajani. Apparently, it was the government itself through persuasion that wanted the change of course, especially to avoid further problems with the US administration. Meanwhile, the authors of the “crime” are trying to downplay it: “It would have been better to discuss it in other forums,” say both Romeo from Lega and Stefania Craxi from Forza Italia.
