Elen Le Foll 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 🇩🇪A very successful first class on LLMs with a mixture of BA and MA students studying French, Spanish, Italian, and linguistics with a focus on Romance languages in Cologne and Bonn! And the weather was so nice that my colleague and I debriefed over tea and cake in this beautiful cherry-blossom street in the old town: a wonderful way to end the first week of the summer semester! 🌸🌸🌸
Today is the first day of a new project seminar on „Large Language Models für die Romanistik“ that I am co-teaching with Iris Ferrazzo from the University of Bonn. We are really excited about this course and collaboration, but the regional rail infrastructure is not doing its bit… I‘ve now been waiting for a train from Cologne to Bonn for nearly an hour… I guess next time, I’ll cycle all the way… 😭
