Ketton mosaic in Rutland reveals rare Aeschylean Trojan War scenes in late Roman Britain

Archaeologists have taken a significant step toward understanding one of the most striking Roman mosaics ever unearthed in Britain. A new study has confirmed that the celebrated Ketton mosaic in Rutland does not follow the familiar storyline of Homer’s Iliad, as originally assumed.
