MarsdenOnline contact management seems to have killed desktop (local) address book software, at least on Windows :( Can anyone offer any (relevant!) suggestions?

klu9Looks like that #PDA in the #MondayActionMovie last night was a Rolodex REX, from Franklin Computer. No data input ability, just let you view info synced to it from a Windows PC. In effect, a PCMCIA card with an LCD screen & a few navigation buttons.

I still have 4 or 5 rolodexes in semi-regular use, picked up for $2 ea from a resale shop. They are long-term tactile memories of people in ways that no online system yet replicates.
