💚 Two weeks ago, a male roe deer was watching me from a small meadow in the Dortherbos; this morning, he also introduced his girlfriend to me 🤩 - Twee weken geleden stond een reebok me te bekijken vanuit een kleine weide in het Dortherbos; vanochtend heeft hij ook zijn vriendin aan me voorgesteld 🤩.

🦌 This morning in the woods, I had the feeling that something or someone was watching me, and sure enough, there stood a beautiful roe deer that I had disturbed while it was eating - Vanochtend in het bos had ik het gevoel dat er iets of iemand naar me stond te kijken en ja hoor, daar stond een prachtige reebok die door mij was gestoord tijdens het eten 🦌.

📝 I quickly snapped this at ground level through the glass door in the morning after waking up at the holiday cabin. Unfortunately, the photo is not 100% in focus, but I still like it.
ℹ️ The roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) grows to a height of up to 127 cm and weighs up to 34 kg. They feed on grasses, ferns and young tree shoots.
