Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Now that the family is gone i can reclaim the table and get back to work. Going for step 2 again to see if it can better smooth out these holes without being too rough compared to Step 1 grit.

SalTwo weeks of stage one grit and they seem unchanged, and that's because they are. Somehow, all the grit sank to the bottom of the barrel and created a cement-like layer of fine ceramic media and grit that never got incorporated into the mix. I've never had that problem before. When I get the obsidian rolling again, I will be giving the barrel a really good shake before I put it on the rollers. Hopefully that solves the issue. #rocktumbling #rocks #rockpolishing
