Nice presentation of the ownership of #music #festivals [1]. Only 4 big companies are responsible for about 150 music festivals in multiple countries. Including #wacken #rockamring #rockimpark #splash! #heros #thunderdome #meraluna ... Now think of smaller #local #bands which want to be part of their local #festival. What do you think happens, when a small band writes an application for one of these festivals? I have been there and words like pay to play, ticket presale come to my mind. I do not think (next to efficiency) that this results a broad cultural development. #IMHO

Das Wetter ist wieder sommerlich, da kann das Wochenende ja kommen. Und was macht man so am Wochenende? Na, diesen Freitag und Samstag ist das doch klar: Man geht in den Stadtpark. 🌳🌱🌲🍃

🎸 Der Verkehrsverein rockt den Park, mit Out of the Blue und Gulli Rock & Somkin’ Strings. Außerdem tanzt an beiden Tagen die TSG Weiß-Gold.

⛳ Aber auch ein Blick in die nächste Woche lohnt schon einmal, denn da könnt ihr auf den Minigolfplatz gehen und euch beim Publikumsturnier aufs Treppchen schlagen.

⚓ Außerdem nächste Woche am Wochenende: Da Ankerfest der Marinekameradschaft Zerstörer Lütjens Dudweiler.
