craquemattic π³οΈβπI'd like a word with whoever came up with the construct that "snails are slow". This is a Golden Pomacea bridgesii, and we got two of them, but I only ever see one and it's rare... they seem to really like the dark places of the riparium. Which is fine, the habitat is what I am going for. We have two similarly sized tiger snails that come out a lot more often.
Starting an outdoor #riparium with the old reptile enclosure. Treated the water today and added a half dozen tiny golden whitetail (?) goldfish and four snails... oh and two underwater plants. Another immersed plant is on its way. The little fish like to school around and are loving all the little nooks and crannies. #garden
