I appreciate your takes on this thread that you made so much, because my job just started pushing AI for every employee to make everyone "more efficient!" Which makes me want to scream, because we're down 4 points in the yearly employee satisfaction survey, and we're down for the THIRD year in a row.

When they this week, for the first time, started pushing AI, it gave me a whole other perspective of working people using AI in their day to day lives. If your job starts demanding that you use it, who tf is not gonna start using it in their free time, so they can get more knowledgeable and not fall behind?
The company that I'm at made big fucking structural changes in the last year and my department lost 5 amazing employees who had YEARS of experience with the company and systems, which meant that the workload for those of us remaining, became so much more fucking intense. I'm suddenly doing tasks that I was never trained for, so when they present the yearly employee satisfaction survey with: "We're still in the green!" (What, because everything above 50% is green, or?) "But yeah, losing points for the third year in a row is obviously not optimal, so we're looking to see where we can optimize, and one of the things we're doing is introducing our own AI!"
Motherfucker, you're talking to the fucking FINANCE department! When the FUCK am I gonna be using AI??? I can't use it for my daily tasks, and if we're talking fucking emails, we are not at the point yet, where the company AI can look at all my emails, all the financials, and know what is the best way to write an email to this supplier of ours. IT ALL MAKES ME SO FUCKING ANGRY.
I would spend so much more time inputting the data needed for a response, than if I just fucking used my own damn brain to generate it, AAAAAAAAAAAAH.

man, I'm so snooze. glad I get to start work later tomorrow. AND I just found out that we get the 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st and 1st off, paid :D fuck yesssssss. but that probably means overtime on the 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th, if I don't wanna be swamped af on the 2nd and 3rd.

ngl, I actually really miss those sound effects when I'm on wafrn on my phone 🥹 hoping they can get added to the app at some point. or maybe the phone browser version will support them at some point.
is there a wafrn roadmap anywhere? I'm curious if a translate button and being able to play youtube videos from within the dashboard is something that's coming down the line, and I did check the FAQs, but didn't see anything mentioned about a roadmap.
IT support at work is driving me fucking nuts. Putting on the Toxicity album by System of a Down to decompress. I get so infuriated when people respond to a ticket, that they clearly haven't read. And then they fucking call me up to explain their response and they clearly STILL haven't actually read the fucking ticket??? Just the fucking subject line?? Ahhhhh.
Them: "Oh, well, I haven't seen that."
Me: "Do you not have access to the full ticket?"
Them: "Oh, well, yeah, I do, but I don't know, maybe you can see more than me, maybe there's stuff you can see that I can't."
Me: "I'm sitting and looking at it right now, in the same system that you view tickets in, the same system that all departments in the whole company uses."
Them: "Oh, well, hmm, well, let's not get bogged down on that."
Say "OH WELL" one more damn time, mf. ONE MORE 
Made it back from ice skating in one piece! That was really quite fun and I managed not to fall at all, haha. Next time though, I want to bring some big socks to switch into, before I put on the skates. I also want to bring my knee pads and helmet, so I'll feel better about it, should I take a fall 
Would also be nice to wear some padded pants, but I might just overheat if I do that, lmao.
All in all a great experience though
