Every so often the perfectly good road just ends in a dirt road.

Riding that is not my strongest skill I must say.

This photo was taken in Mexico while in slight panic I am going downhill and realizing that that gravel road ended in a goat path of some sort.

Let's turn around......but how to turn on a slope?

Sometimes bikes need professional maintenance and bureaucracy is catching up, after 10 years on the road it is time for all sorts of stuff, like new pasport, bank card etc.

Before you know you are almost settled down........ALMOST, because the next trip is in the planning 🥳

A year ago I was in Ixtapa, Guerrero, Mexico, I had been on the motor for a while again after a stop of 2 years in a desert village in Baja California Sur.

We stayed in Ixtapa for a few days, nice hotel, breakfast every morning and the sound of crashing waves was our companion during the beach walks.
