And so I did yesterday. Rode around Castrop-Rauxel and Dortmund to work on my northern Max Square boundary and collected 41 new tiles / squadrats as well as photographs of mining headstocks of the Ruhrgebiet.
 Where do you find this? Either @squadrats_com which is new, free and quite accessible. Or @veloviewer which is kind of the og one and features this already since years. In fact, the first article I wrote about this topic on my blog is from 2017. Back then, my Max Square was 19x19. Leisurely grown here and there since then and it’s now 41x41. They just introduced new tile stats, even! Like Max Cluster Span, Max Connected etc. Fun! Squadrats.com on the other hand also features smaller Squadratinhos in addition to the roughly 1x1 mile Squadrats aka tiles (which are still my main interest) it features smaller Squadratinhos. I dabbled with those last weekend and may do so from time to time around my original home turf in Erndtebrück.
