@Ten - I went to #ricomiccon recently and had similar anxiety. I set certain goals (2 panels I had gone specifically to see and autographs I had paid for) and then allowed myself to forgo as much of the rest of the con as I wanted. I also drove myself so could leave whenever I needed to.
