Welp, #RickGriffin's #Housepets #comic just wrapped up a 15 year run.

I feel like I should write something about how I was really into this thing in the first couple years, how it subverted the whole talking pet genre and broke new ground, asking questions and exploring concepts that really hadn't been delved that deeply into before, how it managed to maintain at least a chunk of its Calvin and Hobbes roots as it progressed to serious storylines...

But IDK, just go read it if you care. :V

Man From Utopia, by Rick Griffin (1972)

Rick Griffin was an artist known for his psychedelic concert posters and album covers for the Grateful Dead (Aoxomoxoa), as well as underground comix such as Zap Comix.

I recall getting this comix from a record store/head shop in the mid 70's.
