Delfshavenradio#doowop is een vorm van #rhythmandblues die gekenmerkt wordt door a capella met een pakkende melodische lijn en een eenvoudige beat met weinig of geen instrumentatie. De stijl ontstond onder de Afro-Amerikaanse jeugd in de steden in het noordoosten van de Verenigde Staten en kende zijn hoogtepunt in de jaren #50s
#acerecords was een platenlabel dat in augustus 1955 in Jackson in de Amerikaanse staat Mississippi werd opgericht door #johnnyvincent met dochteronderneming #teemrecords als budgetlabel. De focus van Ace lag op de #rhythmandblues uit New Orleans.
#johnnyvincent stamde uit een Italiaanse emigrantenfamilie en heette John Vincent Imbragulio, maar liet dit laatste deel van zijn naam vallen. Begin jaren #50s startte hij het platenlabel #championrecords

50+ Music"Mustang Sally" is a #rhythmAndBlues (#RAndB) song written and first recorded by #MackRice in 1965. It was released on the Blue Rock label (4014) in May 1965 with "Sir Mack Rice" as the artist. The song uses an AAB layout with a 24-bar structure. It gained greater popularity when #WilsonPickett #covered it the following year on a single, a version that was also released on the 1966 album #TheWickedPickett. Also in 1966.

"Walking in Rhythm" is a smooth #rhythmAndBlues and #jazz song by #theBlackbyrds. It tells the tale of a man who is passionate about getting back home to his female companion. The song charted in March 1975 and reached number six on the US #Billboard #Hot100 and number twenty three on the #UKSinglesChart in June. The tune was similarly well accepted by soft rock stations.
