RhinoLinux hebt sich von anderen Linux-Distributionen durch seine Ubuntu-basierte Rolling Release-Natur ab, die kontinuierliche Updates ermöglicht. Dies sorgt dafür, dass Nutzer stets die neuesten Softwareversionen nutzen können. Mit dem Pacstall-Paketmanager haben Anwender Zugriff auf Software aus Arch Linux-Repositories, wodurch die Auswahl an Anwendungen erheblich erweitert wird.
