Much as a I love the growing #geospatial support in #rstats, navigating the transition from #rgdal #rgeos and #maptools to #terra and #geodata is a bit of a headache.

The main packages are fine, but most downstream packages that build on these haven't yet been updated, and I can't update my scripts until they do.
