Another addition to the space battle that is being fought above my head: the #StarWars #YWing my favorite ship from the saga. #3Dprinting with a Prusa i3 Mk3s, #PLA plastic and #Revell Paints. Lovely that the nylon wires barely show up on camera, they seem to float there.

Panel liner applied to the underside of one wing. I'm liking the way it is looking for once. Subtle enough it's not obvious, strong enough that it's obviously different to the unlined side.

In things that only I will ever notice or care about, I have followed the #Revell painting guide (bottom). But it "felt wrong" as I was doing it... to the point I checked 3 different times to make sure I'd not confused the two colours.

Only after completing it did I pull up the #Airfix painting guide.

Can you spot the discrepancy?

Currently working on the Revell 1:32 "Aces High" Iron Maiden Spitfire kit. Which I'm hoping is not their usual 1:32 Spitfire MkII with the Eddie figurines thrown in (which is likely, because they're on their own sprue, in their own cellophane packet, cast in a different coloured plastic).

The kit (especially the interior) is horrifically inaccurate from any Mk that I can find reference photos for online. 😬
