Recent reticello bottle. I was rushing and took a gather just a few seconds too early. The studio was closing so l didn't have time to straighten out the pattern, but it is an interesting piece because of the added twist. In some of the pictures you can see the reticello seed than can be attached to a blowpipe and used later to create a vessel with the pattern. More Reticello! The green and white colors highlight the unique twist of this glass. I crafted a fun cup using only canes, resulting in a smaller amount of glass compared to a larger piece. This design beautifully demonstrates how the canes are rolled in opposite directions, trapping bubbles at the intersection when one cup of canes is inserted into the other.
