ZOOKRAUGHT sind Seattles Dance-Punk-Lieblinge geworden und es dauert nicht lange, bis der Rest der Welt aufholt. Die dreiköpfige Band mit ihren aufgekratzten Gesichtsmarkierungen und ihrer Freak-Punk-Ästhetik verlässt die Bühnen bedeckt mit Schweiß, Spucke und was auch immer für seltsamen Flüssigkeiten die Menschenmengen erzeugen, die sie von der Kraft des Zook überzeugt haben.

RESTLESS ist ein brasilianisch-australisches Noisy-Punk-Duo. RESTLESS widmet sich ihrer gemeinsamen Liebe zu allem, was laut, schnell, heavy und eingängig ist. Ihre Texte verflechten persönliche Erfahrungen mit politischen Themen und behandeln Themen wie Schmerz, persönliches Wachstum und die Herausforderungen, von geliebten Menschen getrennt zu sein.

Die Band besteht aus Adriessa Souza (sie/ihr) – Gitarre + Gesang (Anti-corpos, Eat my fear) und Eilis Frawley (sie/ihr) – Schlagzeug + Gesang (Kara Delik Anika, Laura Lee & The Jettes). Obwohl sie aus entgegengesetzten Ecken der Welt stammen, sind sowohl Adriessa als auch Eilis fest in der Independent-Musikszene Berlins verwurzelt. Ihre Liebe zu lauter, grooviger und politischer Musik führte zur Gründung von restless.

Seems the magnesium in cacao has been doing something. Due to the heat, I only had one mug of it this morning. I’d been on four a day (six tablespoons daily is apparently okay - one per mug). Despite some sleep, muscles still restless so I made two more mugs of 1.5tbsp each and it has calmed down. Bit too strong a taste, but not too bad.

I’ve had this restlessness for years (15?) and not known what it was. I noticed outright twitchy muscles, as I’d also had for a few years, a few weeks ago when I briefly tried, and stopped, a supplement. It worked great until the side effects. I’d avoided taking any, can’t seem to tolerate even chelated bisglycinate (gentlest type).

Together with #Restless, the #BlueCats are THE British Neo-#Rockabilly legends since the very early 1980's.

I still love the Blue Cats first two albums, "Fight Back" (1982) and "The Tunnel" (1992).

And they are still active. These days together with #SteveWhitehouse (formerly known as the world's fastest double bass player with #TheSharks and #Frenzy).

They played last week at the "#Bedlam #Psychobilly Breakout" in Northampton.
