Listened to the Rest is History episode on Silicon Valley, where the hosts were fawning over their guest, Marc Andreessen.

The second episode was about social media, but in addition, Andreessen talked politics - how AI will be good, actually, how all technological progression just increases productivity and how things will be better for all.

Sandbrook mentioned multiple times in the prologue how Andreessen is a billionaire. It would've been nice to hear them voicing at least some skepticism considering here's a guy who's standing to benefit enormously from AI hype.

He also mentioned how there are really no libertarians in the Silicon Valley, "his friend Peter Thiel" being the only one who supported Donald Trump.

The episode was released in September 2021. Would be fun to hear a followup episode now, after Andreessen has published Techno-Optimist Manifesto and publicly supports Trump himself.
