Researchers and analysts who want to study research funding need access to submitted grant applications, and not only successful applications. For confidentiality reasons, it is not always possible to publish applications data. We hereby propose a minimal set of metadata that would allow investigating these while safeguarding confidentiality and privacy. Hosted on the Open Science Framework
