<p>Last fall, the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry issued a so-called <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0890856725021070">expression of concern</a> about a controversial <a href="https://www.jaacap.org/article/S0890-8567(09)60309-9/abstract">study</a> that was published in 2001 about the widely prescribed antidepressant known as Paxil.</p>
<p>Such a step is taken when a study may have errors or include unreliable information.
