"If we have the authors' data, surely we can get the same results?!" My contribution to this year's ❤️ Love Data Week ❤️ on Wed 11 Feb. 14–15:30 CET is an online presentation and discussion on the #reproducibility of #linguistics studies. Two of my students, Ali Yıldız & Marie Klünter, will be reporting on their attempts to reproduce two published studies based on the authors' original data. Did they succeed? Why or why not? For the last #ReproducibiliTea in the HumaniTeas session of the winter semester on THURSDAY, we are delighted to welcome @aufdroeseler from the Münster Center for Open Science to discuss "Why and how to repeat research".
Lukas is editor-in-chief of the newly founded diamond #OpenAccess journal Replication Research (R2) and will, I'm sure, also speak about @FORRT's amazing replication hub.
Join us in person @unibibkoeln for tea and biscuits or online via Zoom (join our mailing list to get the link: https://lists.uni-koeln.de/mailman/listinfo/reproducibilitea-humaniteas) 16-17:30 CET on Thursday 29 January.
