Hey #Congress, how about a #Repeal of the #InsurrectionAct ? No need to waste time coming up with reforms everyone can agree on, for now. Just call for a vote.

If successful, the point of sending #ICE to bait citizens to riot becomes moot.

I realize it would be vetoed, but I think a veto override is not out of the question.

He’s trying to make people think that it would allow abortion for any reason up until birth - when it wouldn't. This is to cover for the fact that he opposes abortion in any circumstances - even in cases of rape or fatal foetal abnormality.

I do not recommend this article: p367 begins "In short," & I had to laugh. But the idea is clear: we can stop corporations from spending on politicians or on voting policy, state by state.
This defeats Citizens United (which 75% of USA wants taken down) w/o any court or Constitutional involvement.

Clerk Kim Davis is still fighting Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage

The clerk of a tiny Kentucky county who became known for denying same-sex marriage licenses is still fighting the Supreme Court decision 10 years later. Kim Davis became a cultural lightning rod in 2015 just weeks after the Supreme Court’s Obergefell ruling. Her defiance brought national media and conservative religious leaders to eastern Kentucky as she continued to deny the licenses to same-sex couples. Her lawyers still hope to get the court's decision overturned. They also say Davis was just exercising her constitutional rights. Davis lost a bid for reelection in 2018 and has not returned to politics.
