The New Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Solves Problems in Home Security

I tried #Frigate today & OMG it is so much easier to configure than #Shinobi. I even connected it to #HomeAssistant! So I removed Shinobi from my server & will move forward with frigate as my #NVR.

Now I just need to return the #Amcrest cam that misleadingly advertises #ONVIF support but really only means partially, in its own app. #Reolink #P1Zoom will probably be my next trial since I confirmed it is ONVIF profile T verified.

I know that’s gibberish to most. It was to me 3 weeks ago. 🤷‍♂️

Just finished getting a #Reolink NVR hooked up. It is to replace the record side of #Frigate while keeping its great detection capability. #HomeAssistant integrated wonderfully with the NVR.

A potential, albeit minor, side benefit of the NVR is saving internal network traffic with the video cameras connected directly to the NVR.
