My exhibition at Sierra Arts Foundation Gallery came down today. I'm high with the sense of accomplishment. A fellow artist who was showing in the annex gallery wanted to buy a painting from me (what a compliment!), so I had to ask her to wait for a few months... as these are all going to the next show in Fallon, NV next week. She is fine to wait.
It was a whirlwind year, artistically and personally, but we all survived. Thankful.

My recent favorite -- I used to struggle with this paper size, but now I do OK. This is near the end of the trail I'd never been on. Something felt a little off; hard to explain. Felt like I wasn't supposed to be there... later I learned that it was the end of the ditch canal that is named Last Chance Ditch.
