Le prime tre notti è stata con me in hotel, è stato un Saremo per me nuovo, perché avveo una serenità che lei mi trasmetteva”.

Dei tanti Festival a cui ha partecipato, quello che gli è rimasto nel cuore è datato 2005, quando vinse con Angelo: “Lo ricordo non tanto per la vittoria ma per una famiglia che stava nascendo (Jolanda, la figlia avuta da Ambra Angiolini, era nata solo un anno prima, ndr).
