Listening to #RenéLussier's brain-altering Le Trésor de la Langue album from 1989 right now.

René used musical instruments to capture the phrasings, cadences, lilts, punctuations and pauses in the speech patterns of French-speaking #Quebecois - in doing so "musicalising" a language under threat from wider political structures. This was one of his many #avantgarde contributions to the #QuebecSovereignty movement over the past 5 decades.

Question: has the #ScottishIndependence movement inspired equally #avantgarde musics and/or similarly radical artistic statements? I'd love to hear about them.
